2022 LPL Outlook Preview
“The U.S. economy bounced back from its worst year since the Great Depression in 2020 with one of the best years of growth in nearly 40 years in 2021.”
The theme of the 2022 LPL Outlook is “passing the baton.” 2021 was positive in many areas, including economic growth, schools reopening, travel returning, and more. And while 2022 is not expected to be as profitable as 2021 for investors, strong growth (4-4.5%) is still expected, and inflation is expected to drop (4.5% - 3.7%).
